MP3 of the Day

On this day in 1982 The Cure released the 7″ single Let’s Go to Bed in the UK. In the wake of Pornography, perhaps the darkest Cure album, Robert Smith wrote “Let’s Go to Bed” as a sarcastic reflection on pop music, but he disliked the song and was initially upset that it was released. Today we have an interview with Robert Smith talking about the single and an acoustic version of Let’s Go To Bed. Happy Friday!

Pero no me importa si no te importa a tí
Y no lo siento si tu no lo sientes
Y no lo quiero si tu no lo quieres
    Y lo jugaré
si tu no lo juegas primero
