Into The Gap

thompson_twins

On this day in 1984, the Thompson Twins single “Hold Me Now” entered the US Top 40. It was the first single from the British/new wave band’s fourth album Into The Gap, and it eventually became their highest charting US hit reaching #3 on the Billboard chart.

On a drunken Friday night in 1997 we recorded this embarrassing version of Hold Me Now on an 8-track in Chris’ living room. Apologies to the listener.

Sew Awesome!

indiepop_quilt

Kudos to Courntey Bennett for making an amazing indiepop quilt! If you look close you might spy a Tullycraft ‘Rumble with the Gang Debs’ t-shirt. So awesome!

Thanks Courtney!
