On Tape!
In 2008 HHBTM Records released a Tullycraft / Smittens split 7” as part of their Singles Club series. For their side, The Smittens covered the classic “My Boyfriend’s Back” – originally recorded by The Angels in 1963. For the Tullycraft side, we covered the 1989 Pooh Sticks song “On Tape” – although, we changed almost all of the lyrics. In addition, we spoofed the Pooh Sticks Formula One Generation album cover photo on the insert of the single (see photos above).
