On this day in 1982 The Go-Go’s appeared in their underwear on the cover of Rolling Stone. On this same exact day 19 years later (in 2001) Go-Go’s lead singer, Belinda Carlisle, appeared topless on the cover of Playboy. Today we have the original version of the song Vacation by The Textones from 1980 – and an early live recording of The Go-Go’s performing their version of Vacation at Palos Verdes High School in 1981.
