On this day in 2008 The Apples in Stereo appeared on The Colbert Report. They will be playing at this year’s Athens Popfest on Friday, August 13. Today we have a live recording of Ruby by The Apples in Stereo from the Athens Popfest in 2006.

I couldn’t get a ride to athens this year ( 😦 ) buuut if you’re going and you’re swift you can catch Nana Grizol and Defiance Ohio in the afternoon and then still see The Apples (as well as Circulatory System and Casper and the Cookies and Marshmellow Coast and others) later that evening. Gonna be prettttttty rad festival, friends.
