Tullycraft on the Only Three Lads podcast

Sean and Chris (from Tullycraft) are featured on the new episode of the Only Three Lads podcast.
Along with hosts Brett and Gregg, we each talk about our top five cover songs that we feel are better than the originals. It’s a heated conversation. Check it out!
You can find a link to listen to this episode (#307) on your favorite podcast platform here.
Big thanks to Brett and Gregg for having us on their show! It was a fun afternoon of sharing stories and nerdy music knowledge.
Thank you

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us this past Tuesday. I know a number of folks traveled to Seattle from out of town just for this show. That was truly incredible, and we appreciate you all more than you will ever know. Thank you to Swansea Sound and Heavenly for being amazing bands, and even more amazing people! Special thanks to Amelia Fletcher for inviting us to do this. I’m not sure Tullycraft would have ever performed again had you not asked us to play. It was a momentous evening that we will all remember forever. Thank you.
Here is a live recording of the song, “Ticket Tonight” from that Oct 15th show.
Big thanks to Jayney Wallick for giving this recording to us.

Radio Takeover !

Tullycraft is featured on the Season 2 finale of the Cut X Cut podcast. The theme of this episode is Radio Takeover (i.e. the plot of the 1994 movie Airheads – where Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler hijack a radio station to control the programming). Cut X Cut co-hosts Erik, Kris, Brooke and Chris ask themselves “What band would I play if we took over a radio station?” Erik decides the band he would play would be Tullycraft (his segment starts at the 1:08:20 mark).
New Tullycraft album in the works!

We are in the studio working on a new album for 2018. Stay tuned for more details.
One Man Band

I’ve been enjoying the new So Cow record, Lisa Marie Airplane Tour. The album was recorded entirely in the small coastal town of Spiddal in the west of Ireland by Brian Kelly. Brian played all instruments and recorded & mixed all of the songs himself, which is surprising unless you know that Spiddal is a very small town, consisting of three pubs, two grocery stores and one church. What else is there to do?
Brian claims this album was influenced by bands like Game Theory and The Soft Boys, but I detect a hint of Nothing Painted Blue and Vampire Weekend as well.
Check out the song: “Westerly Direction”
Lisa Marie Airplane Tour is available on Jigsaw Records
