Sad Day

Legendary television producer Stephen J. Cannell died yesterday at age 69. Cannell created or co-created nearly 40 television shows in the 70s and 80s including The Rockford Files, The A-Team, The Greatest American Hero, and 21 Jump Street.

We were big fans, and on the second Tullycraft album, City Of Subarus, we gave props to Mr. Cannell on the song Ticket Tonight.

The wait is over! The Tullycraft tribute Wish I’d Kept A Scrapbook is officially available today. The album features 21 amazing indiepop bands from the US, UK, & Australia including: Math and Physics Club, Darren Hanlon w/ Rose Melberg, Fishboy, Hot Lava, Bunnygrunt, Casper & the Cookies, and many more! This limited run CD will be made available while supplies last from Unchikun Records, Darla Records, and Amazon. Ex-Manhattan Love Suiciders Adam & Rachel have a new band called The Medusa Snare and they are performing tomorrow night at Oporto in Leeds, UK.

Over the weekend Germany won the Eurovision Song Contest with Lena and the song “Satelitte.” This was the second time Germany has won the contest – the first time was 28 years ago.
